Overture

The main character in this piece is a musician who wants to find his place/voice in the world. He is primarily from a warrior race and culture and the foreground elements were designed majorly with a Nordic/Viking inspiration. The protagonist is facing a portal going to a different continent where he hopes his calling as a musician can be nurtured and appreciated more. Contrasting the foreground, the portal is based more on Eastern/Oriental landscapes.
