In Search of Spice

A group of Conquistadors in search of spice are stranded on a desert island. In an effort to look for any sign of civilization, they stumble upon a cave leading to the ruins of a Mayan-looking building deep in a canyon. Despite the dry and arid environment, the surrounding of the structure is teeming with life - plants that are both familiar and alien to their eyes and what seemed to be roots or branches of a tree, wider than a man, weaving in and out of the earth - all leading to the strange structure.
